QD Vision announced on Wednesday that it will collaborate with MMD, the brand license partner of Philips Monitors, to sell the first quantum dot desktop monitors in Europe. AU Optronics, the multinational manufacturer of LCD panels, announced on Friday it had entered an ‘alliance’ with 3M, the American conglomerate, to produce UHD 4K TV panels of up to 85 inches with quantum dot technology from Nanosys. [Read more…]
